The active ingredient of Feliz-P is 4-HO-MET (4-Hydroxy-N-methyl-N-ethyltryptamine), a substance that belongs to the tryptamine class and presents a chemical structure and range of effects similar to psilocybin.
The substance was first synthesized by the famous Alexander Shulgin as described in his book TiHKAL (1997).
The use of 4-HO-MET has been widespread since the 2000’s when it began to resurface in the research chemical market.
Most users describe the similarity of 4-HO-MET effects to those of psilocybin, although somewhat more recreational and with a “less serious” headspace.
Effects
The effects of 4-HO-MET come from its role as a partial agonist of the 5-HT2A receptor, which influences the serotonin levels in the brain.
4-HO-MET produces classic psychedelic effects which, together with its tolerability profile, makes it a popular choice for those in search of entheogenic experiences.
The most common effects include:
- Stimulation
- Tactile enhancement
- Changes felt in bodily form and gravity
- More sensible sense of smell and taste with some users describing olfactory hallucination
- Visual acuity and colour enhancement
- Pattern recognition enhancement
- Strong visuals that will be more pronounced with higher doses, including visions of very complex geometric figures, melting objects, and distortions so strong that sometimes it might seem difficult to distinguish your surroundings and reality from illusion
- Ego loss
- Internal and external hallucinations
- Analysis and creativity enhancement
- Empathy, affection and social enhancement – not central to the experience but very present
- Increased sense of humour and music appreciation
- Time distortions
- Thought acceleration, connectivity and in loops
Note that each user may feel the effects differently and that the effects will probably not occur all at the same time.
The effects will start 30 to 40 minutes after ingestion and the peak is normally reached within 1 hour. The effects will last between 3 to 5 hours, depending on the dosage.
Side-effects
The intensity of side-effects will be directly proportional to the amount taken and might include:
- Nausea: this can be lessened or avoided by fastening for around 6 to 8 hours before-hand
- Temperature regulation suppression
- Muscle contractions and relaxation
- Excessive yawning
- Watery eyes
- Frequent need to urinate
- Pupil dilation
- Runny nose
- Teeth grinding
- Seizures, especially if you are prone to it and you ingest a strong dose
After-effects
Like most psychedelics, 4-HO-MET has a low potential for abuse and it is considered non-addictive. However, tolerance sets in immediately after ingestion, and it takes around 1 week to be back to normal, if there is no consumption.
When consumed with other psychedelics, 4-HO-MET will reduce the effects of the psychedelics taken.
The after-effects can be felt, with decreasing intensity, for up to 12 hours.
Interactions
Cannabis strongly intensifies the sensory and cognitive effects of psychedelics, so caution is advised since it might increase feelings of paranoia and anxiety.
Stimulants combined with psychedelics can turn into uncontrollable paranoia, anxiety and panic.
The combination with alcohol might have a negative effect on the experience due to its ability to cause dehydration, nausea and physical fatigue, especially in high doses. In low doses it is considered safe but it can “dim” the experience.
Especially if you are new to psychedelics, we strongly advise you not to mix substances.

Feliz-P comes in bottles of 10ml that will be enough for 2 light doses or 1 strong dose.
The maximum dosage is 10 ml.
If it is your first time, you can decide to take a lower dose at first, just to get familiar with it, and then increase the dosage to enjoy a nice trip.
